- be current on all vaccinations and owners have to provide us with the copy of the vaccination history and health records from your veterinarian; also a proof of a fecal test that was performed within last 6 months (the fecal result needs to be negative).
- be at least 16 weeks old (4 months)

- be on an effective tick preventative

- be licensed (we require your dog to have a county license tag and provide us with a proof of pet county license before beginning the Board and Train program) ; a dog needs to wear a license tag on his collar
- Collier County pet licensing information - please click to read NOTE about seasonal residents with dogs in Collier County: If a dog owner lives in Collier County only part time and a dog is licensed in a different county, a Collier County license is not required. However, it is helpful for a dog to be microchipped.

- be housebroken (we do NOT take the dogs that are not housebroken, but we will be happy to help you with housebreaking your dog. If your dog is not housebroken, please consider doing a full professional Evaluation with FINE-TUNED CANINES and private on location sessions at FINE-TUNED CANINES dog training location in Naples, FL) NOTE: There is NO such thing as "partly housebroken". A dog is either housebroken or not. If a dog still has accidents in a house (and there are no medical reasons or behavioral reasons, such as submissive urination or urinating out of excitement, for that to happen), a dog is not housebroken.
