Proper dog socialization with FINE-TUNED CANINES

Lexi (FINE-TUNED CANINES) socializing a young Golden Retriever pup during his Board and Train program in Southwest Florida.Socializing a puppy is a lot of fun. Everything is new and every experience is fresh... A good pack leader shares the experiences about the world, very much like a mother dog would teach her young pups about the environment.

I truly enjoy seeing all kinds of expressions on a puppy face when he or she discovers new things in their life: new smells, sounds, images, social situations, etc.

Dogs are very social animals and they need to be gradually and properly exposed to a number of various social situations.

During FINE-TUNED CANINES Board and Train program we provide dogs of all ages with proper socializing experiences and we carefully supervise the type of social experiences that are beneficial to each of our canine boarding school students. Board and train canine students experience new things and discover the world in a balanced way.

This Golden Retriever puppy is full of curiosity and is getting lots of proper social experiences during his Board and Train program with FINE-TUNED CANINES.

Real life distraction training (with Board and Train canine student)

Brodie, the Board and Train canine student, used to pull on a leash and was difficult to control. Here, after working with Lexi and FINE-TUNED CANINES, Brodie walks nicely on a loose leash and remains focused on the trainer even though there are plenty of distractions present. GOOD dog Brodie! You are a FINE-TUNED CANINE! :)

Treadmill exercise for dogs - presented by Chopper

Chopper is presenting to his fellow canines the fine-tuned way of walking on a treadmill. Dogs learn a lot from each other just by observation and mimicking that's why it's so important to show them what we DO want for them to do so they have a good role model (you, the pack leader) to follow.

Treadmill exercise for dogs

Our Board and Train canine students can take a full advantage of the "canine gym" and treadmill exercise. Even when it is hot and humid outside, we make sure that the Board and Train canine students receive their needed physical exercise. Treadmill exercise also provides dogs with mental stimulation and improves their ability to focus. This movie is showing Brodie, the Board and Train brilliant student, who is enjoying his treadmill exercise in the air-conditioned room, with additional personal fan and his very own human-canine cheer leading team: Lexi (his trainer) and his 2 canine friends: Shakti and Chopper. Go Brodie go! :)
